Adam Frost

Adam K. Frost is an Assistant Professor at Southern Denmark University and a Fellow at the Danish Institute of Advanced Studies, where his research examines the critical intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, and state-business relations. In past work, he has explored the social mediation of technological diffusion and the governance of digital platforms in China. His forthcoming book, Can Capitalism be Killed? (Harvard University Press), provides a deep historical analysis of the co-evolution of governance strategies and entrepreneurial tactics in Maoist China, revealing how informal, adaptive networks and collusive relationships systematically hollowed out institutional structures from within. Dr. Frost's academic work is informed by prior experience in strategic analysis, including as a Fulbright Scholar in China and a Fellow in the US-Asia Grand Strategy Program at the University of Southern California.
