Marte Høiby

Marte Høiby is a senior research scientist at Sintef Digital and a guest researcher at the Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies. Her field of study is hybrid threats, influence operations and propaganda, and includes critical security perspectives on the concept of sovereignty in and through the cyber domain. Høiby was a guest researcher at the UN university in 2018, and has lectured at universities in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. She holds a Ph.D. in media science and has broad experience with leading and contributing to Norwegian and international research projects.
